VEJA launches the new - the AEGEAN PROJECT - with the aim of producing and selling sneakers locally in Europe.
Like O.T. leather, this leather of European origin undergoes a careful mechanical process that gives it a soft, fine and supple texture. As it is tanned in Portugal, fewer dyes are used than in a traditional leather.
The tanneries that supply the leather for VEJA are Gold certified by the Leather Working Group, which promotes sustainable practices with a positive impact on the environment.


Upper material: Leather sourced from the EU.
Panels: Leather and suede sourced from the EU.
Logo V: Amazon rubber (26%), silica (22%), synthetic rubber (14%) and others (38%).
Insole: Amazonian rubber (11%), organic EVA* (42% sugar cane), recycled EVA* (11%), organic cotton (12%) and others (14%). Outsole: Amazonian rubber (40%), silica (23%), recycled rubber (10%), synthetic rubber (11%) and others (16%).
Lining: Tech (100% recycled polyester). Laces: Organic cotton (100%). Made in Portugal.
